The LPN in this role provides administrative and clinical support to physicians, mid-level practitioners, office management and other healthcare providers for a designated department.
You will plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care; acquire history of patient injury and/or progress since last appointment; perform ancillary testing and preparation of the patient for the examining provider; and collaborate with other members of the team in providing health information and maintenance of the medical record. The LPN is also responsible for interfacing with patients regarding medical issues pre- and post-surgery.
Vocational/Technical degree and State of Pennsylvania LPN licensure;
Experience in a medical office as an LPN, preferably in an occupational health setting
General clerical (30 WPM) and Microsoft Word skills
