The Community Benefit Manager will be the organizational point person for BayCare’s design, development, implementation and evaluation of Community Benefit initiatives. The manager will act as a central facilitator and liaison for operationalizing the strategic direction and goals of BayCare’s Community Benefit strategic plan across the health system. This role will support the Community Benefit Council, the governing body over BayCare’s Community Benefit strategy. The manager will work in partnership with the Community Health Needs Assessment implementation team(s) and facility Senior Management Teams to effectively implement and monitor CHNA plans to improve the health of our communities and ensure BayCare is accurately capturing and recording the Community Benefit we provide through various initiatives. This position will evaluate BayCare’s ongoing Community Benefit strategy and outcomes, reporting back to the Council and Senior Leaders as applicable.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Finance, Public Health or related field, five years of healthcare experience and two years of experience in Community Benefit and/or Public Health. A Master’s degree and two years of experience in Epidemiology are preferred. Must be able to collaborate and work with a team, as well as possess excellent communication, critical thinking and process improvement skills.
