Providing direction and resources to assigned areas and/or cost centers, the professional we select will oversee building systems: mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, elevators, and materials-handling. Managing human, financial, and material resources, this individual will implement best business-management practices. Areas of responsibility: physical plant operations, maintenance and general sustaining services, building infrastructure, regulatory compliance, landscaping services, construction management support and emergency preparedness. Overseeing the work of contractors assigned to facility renovation projects entailing HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing infrastructure, this person will assess compliance with the Life Safety Code, and coordinate completion of the electronic Statement of Conditions (E-SOC).

Experience and Licensure:
5 + years in a director-level engineering/facilities/plant operations role within healthcare, encompassing multiple locations
Valid driver's license
Large-scale project management in plant infrastructure and building construction/renovation
History of achieving Joint Commission accreditation for environment of care
Experience/training in Lean Production methodology and leading/developing system-wide emergency management and response programs
